Greetings!
As the pastor, of the St. James Missionary Baptist Church, I would like to personally welcome you to become active with the program of the church and grow spiritually. It is my desire that we will all seek God’s guidance and continue to press toward unity in the bond of spirit and truth.
We want you to understand what church membership means so that you may be faithful and loyal both to God through Christ and your church.
Here at St. James we share a ministry of love, kindness and good will. My vision is to reach the lost and teach the saved. As pastor, I am available for your ministerial and spiritual needs or direction, through the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
The Christian Education Ministry provides many services for the church. Education is a teaching-learning enterprise, grounded in theology and scripture. The main goals are as follows:
To enable persons to learn God through Christ as experienced in the Christian Community, to the church.
To help all persons know God’s love as it is revealed in Jesus Christ; grow in their understanding of the Christian faith, and be involved in the mission of the church.
To teach all persons the Bible, Christian Beliefs, and right and wrong, so they may live as Christians.
The Christian Education Ministry and I welcome the opportunity to assist you as well as acquaint you with general church procedures and information that will enhance and enrich your spiritual growth.
